To help solve the global challenge of feeding 2 billion more people by 2050, we’re on the hunt for ground-breaking scientific research that can demonstrate potential to advance food security and revolutionise the agricultural industry.
The Olam Prize for Innovation in Food Security recognises a scientific research project for its significant potential adequacy of food, in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal #2: End Hunger.
The winning project will receive a US$75,000 research grant to scale up its further development and help bring the innovation to life.
Are you eligible?
We welcome applications from:
- Academic or research institutions, civil society organisations and the private sector
- Research projects in nutrition science, plant science, soil science, agricultural sciences or other field of scientific research impacting food security
- Research on any part of agricultural supply chains, based anywhere in the world.
