Our traditional barbecue is back for another year! Postdocs are invited to join the Postdoctoral Fellows Office (PDFO) at the AMS Nest for check-in at 11:55 AM, with the barbecue kicking off at 12:00 PM. The event will run for approximately 1.5 hours.
Postdocs in attendance will have the chance to win exciting prizes, generously donated by both on- and off-campus partners.To be eligible for a prize, you must be present at the time of the draw.
Due to venue capacity and catering requirements, advance registration is required by Thursday, September 4.

Update September 12, 2025 at 3:30 PM: We are currently at venue capacity for this event. Those registering at this time will be placed on the waitlist.
Registration in this session is required and is now open. Those successfully registered will receive a registration confirmation within one week of the session date. The registration deadline of September 4 has been extended, and registrations are still being accepted.
NO-SHOW PENALTY: If you register and do not attend or cancel after 3pm on the day before the event, it may affect your eligibility to join future events. To avoid this no-show penalty, please cancel by at least 3pm the day before the event by e-mailing postdoctoral.fellows@ubc.ca.
