The research involves cross-national and trend analysis of complex survey data collected from national and international samples in the Canadian Community Health Survey, Ontario Child Health Study, and Gallop World Poll. The successful applicant will support international research collaborations and have opportunities to pursue independent lines of investigation around the general theme of inequality and adolescent health.

The duration of the award is 12 months and is renewable for a second year, commencing in the Fall of 2019. The value the award is $60,000 CDN plus a $2000 research allowance.

Applicants must have at the time of the award completed a PhD in a relevant discipline including, but not restricted to, epidemiology, human nutrition, sociology, or economics. Applicants may not have received their PhDs more than 5 years before the beginning of the fellowship. Applicants who do not have a completed PhD at the time of application should include a letter from their Department Chair specifying the date of their dissertation defense.
