Persuasive and deadline driven, you will use your advanced training, communication skills and experience in research administration and/or proposal development to facilitate research application success rates in the natural sciences, engineering, biomedical, and clinical/health research areas at the University. Skillful in providing leadership and advice to researchers while working in a team environment, you will: facilitate the formation of interdisciplinary teams; research appropriate funding opportunities; support the development of collaborative research proposals (by contributing background research, writing, copy editing and liaising with funding partners), convey the University’s research strengths to various stakeholders and lead grantwriting workshops.

Your Masters degree (PhD would be an asset) in a relevant field is complemented by 3 - 5 years of related experience, preferably in a post-secondary environment. Your interpersonal, writing and communication skills will allow you to develop and convey the University’s research expertise to funding agencies confidently.

Expertise in coaching, mentoring and delivering professional development workshops is expected. Knowledge of project management principles, research protocols and grantwriting is a definite asset. A full job description may be requested by contacting the Office of Human Resources.
