Project Description

My postdoctoral project at UBC is on molecular investigations of a novel combination therapy for acute myeloid leukemia. Our objectives are to identify the impact on the cellular proteome and signaling pathways of the new AXL inhibitor developed by SignalChem Lifesciences Corporation and to identify potential biomarkers/companion diagnostic targets for inhibitor effects in AML patient cell lines. This is a MITACS collaboration between Calvin Yip Lab at UBC and Jiang Lab at Terry Fox Labs, BC Cancer Research Centre.
