Project Description

Pacific Crest Treeline Project- I am establishing a long-term treeline and phenology monitoring network along the Pacific Crest Trail National Scenic Trail in the western United States.
Reconstructing flowering phenology of Pacific Northwest plants- We are using herbarium specimens to determine if there has been long-term changes in flowering phenology of Pacific Northwest plants.
Resurvey of plant distribution in the North Cascades- We revisited a field study from the early-1980s to determine if plants in North Cascades National Park have experienced shifts in distribution and abundance.
