As a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Knowledge Translation at Arthritis Research Canada and UBC with Dr. Linda Li, Jasmin is focused on supporting strength training behaviour change and developing methods for tailored physical activity interventions among people with rheumatoid arthritis.
Jasmin completed her PhD in Health and Exercises Sciences, with emphasis on behaviour change science and integrated knowledge translation, from the University of British Columbia- Okanagan. Her PhD work focused on systematic, co-created, and theory-based physical activity intervention development for people with spinal cord injury. She has a strong passion for bridging health care and recreation sectors to provide tailored community physical activity participation opportunities for people with disabilities.
