Project Description
My research is directed toward the attitudinal barriers associated with the employment of adults with disabilities. We are currently in the process of developing a digital version of the START (skills training, awareness, resources, theory) model of disability awareness training that has served as the basis for a significant number of in-person training sessions over the past several years.
This training will be deliverd initially within UBC. The efficacy of the training will be determined through pre- and post- administrations of the Co-Worker Acceptance of Disabled Employees (CADE) Scale.
