Project Description

Design and synthesis of pseudorotaxane and rotaxane supermolecules, a type of interlocked molecules assembled through non-covalent interactions. The integration of these unique complexes into molecular devices (e.g. thermometers, delivery systems and stimuli-responsive polymers) is also being explored.
