Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship Information Session

With its internationally competitive level of funding, the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship is one of the most sought-after fellowship opportunities for PDFs. The Postdoctoral Fellows Office (PDFO) invites UBC PDFs to an information session aimed at helping you navigate through the Banting’s unique application process and increasing the possibility of success.

Nicole Bennett and Christy McTait of UBC’s SPARC Office will provide an overview of the Banting competition (e.g., eligibility, application components, and selection criteria), will review UBC’s internal selection process and will highlight the support available to UBC’s nominees. Dr. Pam Ratner, Professor at UBC School of Nursing and national Banting panel member will provide valuable and insightful information on the review process. We intend to have a 2012 Banting Fellow join us for the discussion, details to come.

Attending this information session is an excellent way to better your chances of selection. Any PDFs intending to apply for the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship are strongly encouraged to attend.
