The McCall MacBain Postdoctoral Fellows Teaching and Leadership Program is now accepting applications for the Postdoctoral Leadership Certificate. Created for postdoctoral researchers working in Canada, the Postdoc Leadership Certificate allows early career researchers to explore their leadership style, develop an interdisciplinary network, identify gaps in profesional development skills and reflect upon individual strengths.
Program Details: Postdoctoral Leadership Certificate
- Date: Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 17, 2026
- Location: McMaster University, Ontario Canada
- Delivery: Online or in person delivery (note that online positions are limited)
- Program Overview: 30hours of synchronous (and asynchronous) program time.
- Deliverables: EQI 2.0, Leadership circle assessment, reflection exercises, impact statement (90sec pitch), final reflective summary
Considerations: To ensure that cost is not a barrier for interested postdocs . . .
- Travel cost will be reimbursed for all traveling postdoctoral scholars.
- Accommodations will be supplied on campus for all interested participants.
- Food is provided to all participants during program activities (for the full week)
