Postdoctoral Position in Computational Biology

A co-supervised postdoctoral position is available in the Mayor and Gsponer labs at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Michael Smith Laboratories at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. This position is funded by CIHR for a study related to protein aggregation and features associated aggregation-prone proteins. The candidate is expected to be a motivated team player who fits into a multidisciplinary research environment. The candidate should have recently or nearly completed her/his PhD, published at least one first author research publication in a peer-reviewed journal, and have a experiment in computational science and a strong background in life science and biochemistry.
