Registration in this workshop is required. Interested registrants will be confirmed on a first-come first-served basis with minor preference given to more senior postdocs. Successfully registered postdocs will receive a confirmation email from the PDFO within one week prior to the workshop.
As announced in November, the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) launched a Research Trainee Competition on November 26th, 2014. In order to increase awareness for the competition, and to highlight recent changes to the competition guidelines, MSHFR will be running a two hour information session.
The session will be led by MSFHR’s Programs Team and will consist of a presentation with an overview of the changes in guidelines and eligibility criteria followed by an open Q&A session.
The information session is intended for applicants at the post-PhD and post-health professional degree (MD, DDS,DVM or DPharm)stages to prepare for careers as independent health researchers. Note that the sessions are also open to research administrators and grant facilitators.
